Who we are
MS Excel Experts provides remote Excel and spreadsheet services. For privacy questions, contact contact@ms-excel-experts.com. [Insert registered legal entity name and address before publishing.]
What we collect
Through the project form: your name, email address, optional mobile number, project description, budget, timeline, quote preference and any file you choose to attach. Through hosting: standard server logs including IP address, which our host retains for security and abuse prevention.
The site stores your light or dark theme preference locally. We do not load advertising or analytics scripts. If you choose to book a call after submitting your brief, the page loads Calendly, which may use its own cookies or browser storage. [Update this if you add analytics.]
Services used by the project form
Cloudflare hosts the site and processes form requests. Brevo delivers the project brief, optional attachment and confirmation email. When you request call booking, your name, email, project description, budget, timeline, optional phone and project reference are passed to Calendly to prefill the booking form. If spam verification is configured, Cloudflare Turnstile processes the verification. Files are attached to the project email rather than saved in a public website folder.
When project logging is enabled, we also record your submitted contact and project details in a private Google Sheets spreadsheet to manage enquiries. The record includes the attachment name and size; the attached file itself is sent with the project email and is not uploaded to the spreadsheet.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to deliver and administer the work. We do not sell your data, and we do not add enquiry addresses to a marketing list.
Client files and confidentiality
Where you send us workbooks or datasets, we act as a processor on your instructions. We prefer to work inside your storage (SharePoint, Google Drive or similar) rather than holding copies. Where we must hold a copy, we delete it on request or at the end of the engagement. We will sign an NDA and, where required, a data processing agreement. Where possible we ask for anonymised or sample data rather than real records.
International transfer
Our team is in India. If you are in the UK, EU or Australia, sending us personal data means transferring it outside your jurisdiction. If your organisation has requirements about this, raise them before the engagement starts — in many cases we can avoid handling personal data entirely. [If you take UK/EU personal data regularly, put appropriate transfer safeguards in place and describe them here.]
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become engagements: [specify, e.g. 12 months]. Client records: [specify, in line with your tax and legal retention obligations].
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your data, or to object to its processing. Email us and we will act on the request. If you are in the UK or EU and are unhappy with our response, you can complain to your supervisory authority.
Changes
We will update the date below when this policy changes.
